they miss
"sudo apt install cryptomator" as a 3rd line

The ppa should not contain installation instructions, because it can serve more than one package. As the heading states:

Adding this PPA to your system

If you need installation instructions, visit our homepage https://cryptomator.org/downloads

If you look at different PPAs, you will notice they all look the same.

This page, including the mentioned two shell commands, is generated by launchpad. So I guess this is the wrong issue tracker. Instead you'd need to contact Canonical and tell them the instructions are insufficient.
