How about uniforming names of some unusual variables?
Such as Hexdump to HexDump and hexbytes to hex_bytes.

I wouldn't bother. The spelling is fine. Changing it would be a major breaking change and cause a lot of friction. People have to override their memory and in the process may get confused which one is the new one.
