Should work with the notifications API present on desktop browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

UI is added in latest edition.

So because there’s no back-end, this is stupidly hard to do. What I would need to do is not only add the notifications UI & API stuff but also create a cState API, because the page state only changes by refresh, and do a bunch of other stuff for basic functionality.

Notifications imagery:

  • regular favicon
  • favicon with checkmark
  • favicon for disrupted status
  • favicon for major outage status

Notifications text:

  • “Status changed from Operational to Disrupted”
Affected components: API, Gateway. Active issues: “US East Connection Issues”

  • Update on incident “US East Connection Issues”
    Update text goes here

And, also re #11:

  • Downtime has reached 98.9% mark
You are elgibile for a refund.
