Is this going to make it possible to drag into an image folder from the content.product.php Image tab box?

At this stage of your work it is not possible to drop an image into a folder, even in the Filemanager view. Is this what you expected at this stage of progress? Or have I made some error in merging code - certainly possible!!

Can you still select which order the photos will appear in? Right now I name my photos (ex) 01-picture-front, 02-picture-side, 03-picture-back - numbering them according to how I want them to appear in the gallery. Will this still be possible?

Claudia39 - I've always determined the order of images by the order I uploaded them. I have always used the image tab to add images to the product - not the Filemanager.
At this point MY attempt at this code on a test site uploads, but does NOT assign to the product. That requires searching for the new images by name in the image frame and clicking the boxes to set the star image and checkbox ones.

Still a bit of work to do.

Glad to hear that!
Maybe my code is right as of this point then. I know you're not through with it.
