Product option "Available for purchase" is not honoured

I have a product that's currently out of stock. With "Use stock level" AND "Available for purchase" unchecked, the product is still buyable.

I doublechecked that the store option "Allow out-of-stock purchases" is unchecked, and it is.

This is most likely to be a skin level bug. Older skins may not respect the "Available for purchase" setting. If you can open a support ticket we can look at this for you.

Alternatively if this is a bug in 6.2.5 with default skin please let me know with specific steps to reproduce. i.e. exactly where you can add it to basket
