Unable to create pull request when following current instructions

The README.md specifies that when working locally, you should get the source code by cloning this project. If you do so, it is not possible to create pull request (403 error).
To be able to create a pull request, fork this repo to your own account, make changes there and create a pull request. (I have added this info also to my pull request: a7522cf)

Thanks for the feedback @mlvandijk. This repo is under heavy rework by @plaindocs right now, and once he's out the other side of that in a couple of weeks we'll be able to start making the repo more welcoming to other contributors. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime!

@mattwynne Yw! This issue was also before I was a Member/Contributor, so might be different now(?). I've contacted @plaindocs about contributing. I'll close this issue in the mean time.
