Send notifications when news comes out in Renren.
Tested under Ubuntu 12.10 x86_64. It works well with Ubuntu Unity Desktop Environment.
Set up a configuration file named “.user” in the same directory. See comments in the renren-indicator.py for more details.
Run in terminal:
python renren-indicator.py
Or you can set the update interval by yourself. Default value is 300s.
python renren-indicator.py 1000
