Legacy applications can be executed without any server configuration, just clone this repo under local webserver root and open http://localhost/symfony-legacy-example/legacy/ or http://localhost/symfony-legacy-example/legacy2/. But make sure to checkout v0.1-legacy-examples tag because after Symfony integration the legacy apps don't work as standalone anymore.
