I uninstalled and reinstalled Box Office on my new iPhone 3G and now it is not
updating anything. I
entered my zip code and nothing is coming up for title, theaters, nada. Please
help. This is a great
tool and now I can't use it.

I also am not getting BoxOffice (NowPlaying) to update...it's not updating
automatically/showing old information. I have version 1.2. I have to trick it
to
update...I go search for a movie that I KNOW is playing at my theater, then
click the
movie to see which theaters it's playing at and then I select my theater. That
seems
to have forced it to update. Is there an update button somewhere? Or should
this be
working automatically?

Not actionable. Users did not supply enough information.

my postal code is 78759.

anyone else having this problem, since the developers aren't looking into this
anymore, here's a temporary workaround. you just have to force the app to
reload by
doing one of the following:

-if you know a movie is playing at a theater you want to go to, search for the
movie,
then search for the theater, this will force a refresh
-go change your zip code to something else, and then change it back
-really anything to change and then reset should force the refresh.
-or use the app Showtimes (it has refreshed every time I open it, but also has a
Refresh option!); I like BoxOffice, because I can set the ratings to be from
RottenTomatoes.com, which I prefer, but I use Showtimes to confirm that what
BoxOffice says is playing at my theater, still actually is. But, should I lose
BoxOffice, I can't get it back right now; Showtimes is still available on the
App Store.

Please put a refresh option on BoxOffice. :) (but I guess I wouldn't be able to
get
the update anyway...boo)

Um... What? The *developer* (singular) checks in here every day. I asked you
for your postal code 4 days ago
and had no response. So i closed the bug. I'm reopening now while i take a
look at this.

BoxOffice will always refresh every day. It may not be able to if you have no
network connection. I'm working
on a way of it notifying you that it was unable to update to let you know.
