3ds to cia problems

Im trying to convert a .3ds of a pokemon wilting y .3ds into a .cia so i can install it on my 2ds XL. However, whenever i select “build cia” it gives me the “missing crypto keys” error. Is there a way to fix this or will i have to dig around on the internet for a .cia?

Are you able to do this with any other ".3ds", like from a physical Game Card?

It does, at least with the ones ive tried (omega ruby, street fighter)

Have you tried installing the .3ds directly?
