Example Git config files with useful aliases and other settings I find helpful. Add all files to your home directory. For convenience, the aliases are in a standalone file, referenced from the main .gitconfig file. Add all or part of it to .gitconfig in your HOME directory (or keep them split if you prefer). Includes settings for using WinMerge to perform merges and diffs on Windows machines (omit that section for Mac or Linux). This file is provided as-is with no guarantees. Use at your own risk. 1# This file is provided as-is with no guarantees. Use at your own risk.
