Give back to the gems you depend on!
gem-gratitude will scan your dependencies and find any open issues for you help out on.
gem install gem-gratitude
Just run gem-gratitude in any project folder that contains a Gemfile. After it's finished scanning, you'll be served a webpage containing all open issues for you to browse at your leisure.
- Checkout Issues to see what's in the pipeline, and what needs fixing.
- Fork the project
- Code your amazing feature/bugfix/typofix
- Send a pull request. Thanks!
- Run as webserver that parses all Gemfiles in a Workspace (containing multiple projects)
- Embed as a link in any project README that says "help out with issues on dependencies for this project"
