A content-driven iPad app that explores visually the history of pictorial art in Spain The app Pintura helps the reader understand the evolution of painting in Spain, from prehistoric cave painting to 20th century surrealism. The content of Painting is suitable for children, students, and any person interested in gaining a deeper knowledge of Spain’s rich artistic history.

The user navigates through an inital screen that takes him to the different periods in the history of pictorial arts in Spain. From there, each period is treated as an independent section that starts with a historic context, and different chapters taking the reader through the main painters, paintings, and techniques of the period.
