Codenet

Several utility libraries, available on nuget.
Some of it was migrated from the antique dg.Utilities and from Imaging.net.

Packages:

• Codenet.Collections - helpers regarding collections
• Codenet.Drawing - helpers regarding drawing (css color parsing, Size bounds calculation with aspect ratio)
• Codenet.Drawing.Common - Mainly common interfaces and base classes that other modules here utilize. Not much to do with it directly.
• Codenet.Drawing.Common.GdiPlus - Gdi+ specific extensions/subclasses, mainly over ImageBuffer.
• Codenet.Drawing.Common.Skia - SkiaSharp specific extensions/subclasses, mainly over ImageBuffer.
• Codenet.Drawing.Encoders.Gif - A GIF encoder that works with the common ImageBuffer, based on the work of Nased Kevin Weiner and David Rowley.
• Codenet.Drawing.Encoders.Jpeg - A JPEG encoder that works with the common ImageBuffer, based on BitMiracle's libjpeg wrapper.
• Codenet.Drawing.ImageDimensionsDecoder - A fast decoder for image dimensions only, supporting several popular formats (jpeg, tiff, png, gif, bmp, icns). Taking in account EXIF orientation tags.
• Codenet.Drawing.ImageProcessing - Deprecated image processing utilities migrated from Imaging.net. Now its main utils are split between relative Skia/GdiPlus utils modules. The rest is filters for which Skia has its own mechanism.
  • A set of features to process images, with some ready-made filters and allows custom filters.
  • Builtin filters: blur, brightness, color filter, contrast, convolution matrix, emboss, equalize histogram, exact color replace, flip, gamma correction, grayscale, guassian blur, invert, laplace edge detection, pixellate, red eye reduction, reduce transparancy, saturate, sepia, sharpen, sobel edge detection)
  • Method to resize/crop/add-borders/round-corners/zoom/set-bg-color in one take. You can anchor the crop, keep aspect ratio etc.
  • Method to crop solid color margins.
  • Method to iterate over each frame of an image, with automatic encoding of the output.
  • Encodes JPEGs using Libjpeg (BitMiracle.LibJpeg.NET), to achieve better compression ratios.
  • Encodes (animated!) GIFs with high quality quantizers (You can choose between many algorithms). The quantizers were written by Smart K8 and are under the The Code Project Open License (CPOL) license.
• Codenet.Drawing.Quantizers - A set of quantizers, used for encoding GIFs with surprising high quality. These were originally written by Smart K8 and are under the The Code Project Open License (CPOL) license.
• Codenet.Drawing.Utils.GdiPlus - A set of utils for Gdi+ (System.Drawing.Common). These include:
• ImageThumbnailUtil: Thumbnail generation, with high definition control over sizing, cropping, fitting, and borders.
• ImageMarginCropUtil: Margin cropping for images, for when an image has single color margins.
• ImageSaveUtil: Simple saving an image from Image object. Handles alternative libjpeg encoding and GIFs.
• ImageFrameProcessingUtil: Allows per-frame processing of images. This is for handling multi-frame images like GIFs.
• Codenet.Geography - Stuff like distance between coordinates
• Codenet.Drawing.Utils.Skia - A set of utils for SkiaSharp, which replaces System.Drawing.Common. These include:
• ImageThumbnailUtil: Thumbnail generation, with high definition control over sizing, cropping, fitting, and borders.
