It could be very useful for the user to be able to visualise the performance of the optimiser by looking at how the optimum position has changed as the number of iterations increases.

Provided basic plotting functionality

Designed a PlotDesigner class which allows the user to provide formatting to the plots - this is used by the plotting functions to interact with Matplotlib.
