Introductory words:

The masternode monitoring and budget proposal view/vote website Dashwhale.org has been launched yesterday. The platform will allow masternode owners a fruitful discussion about proposals, to increase masternode owner activity and bugdget proposal voting quality.

To increase the comfort, will allow masternode owners to enter their privkey (voluntary of course) to facilitate them to vote comfortably via Dashwhale website and upcoming mobile apps. Voting by commandline only, will decrease masternode owner activity and voting quality, so there is a strong benefit to do it via the website. In the unlikely case that encrypted privkeys get exposed from Dashwhale database by hack, users are able to generate new privkeys and replace them. In case of desaster, the negative effect is quite limited.

Feature request:

  • allow proposal voting using the privkey + output + pubaddress + proposal identfier only (no masternode.conf should be required; no wallet with private key should be required)

I talked tu UdjinM6 before and he said "right now you vote using mnprivekey and wallet to check if this MN is actually online grabbing mnprivkey/vin pairs from masternode.conf. I think it could be possible to vote without masternode.conf"

Thank you for your consideration guys. We are happy to support the DASH project with Dashwhale.org

Best,
Rango

This was solved by our trustless voting implementation, thanks!
