What is the process?
Would an admin receive an email notification to review and approve an event after it has been submitted?

How would an admin approve an event?

Possible:
When "reviewing an event", select "Publish"

@reshamas, we are not triggering emails when events are created, but that is definitely feasible and something that would be implement in the backend Python code. Right now, you will have to manually go into the admin panel and look at the recently added events. Happy to discuss ways to the application can streamline this process.
