I think it could come useful for future events and/or for integration with other platforms

  • Establish copyright/license statement (Provide COPYING (or LICENSE.md) file with information on copyright/licenses of content #168)
  • rewrite history to make it cleaner and remove possibly encumbered content
    • Strip away all OHBM posters .tsv .csv .json files
    • provide and host an example with posters.json knowing to be "legit" (free content/metadata)
    • ideally strip away all compiled from vue JS/CSS and rely on CI for deployment. That would simplify analysis of the code changes etc
    • git graft might be desired to provide association between commit in the rewritten and this original version, or just some clean tag present in both... we will see
  • RF to have specific conference data (.jsons, thumbnails) provided from an independent repo/location (pretty much == "move posters.json into https://github.com/datalad-datasets/ohbm2020-posters-thumbnails and use that one instead; I have some not yet pushed changes to the script there to recommend).
    • I think any further development issues/etc could be done in that new GallOP repo
  • Place under GallOP name under some other organization.
    • I would be happy to have it under https://github.com/con (vote 👍 or 👎) or suggest a better alternative (gallop name/organization is taken on github already)
  • Adjust README.md here to point to the new platform location

I have no objections to GallOP being under con/, and can't immediately think of a more appropriate alternative.
