This repository accompanies the publication ''Retracted articles use less free and open-source software and cite it worse'' upcoming in QSS.
The analyses is based on the anonymized data in file software_in_retracted_and_control_articles.csv, that was published with permission of Retraction Watch.
Based on this file the analyses are implemented in analyses.qmd, which allows a direct repetition of the analyses outlined in the article.
The output of the applied analyses are further included as a PDF document (which will also be available as a supplement to the article).
Furthermore, it contains the code used for Coarsend Exact Matching in file coarsend_exact_matching.qmd, with details to the used data sources summarized in the article.
