I have downloaded the latest version of the plugin (as far as I know), installed it, created a new badge.

When I send the badge the email says:

Well done, you have been awarded a badge from CANDofE. These badges celebrate your achievements and enable you to build a CV of awards you acheive.

http://candofe.com/badges/award1/

If I click on the link, I then get a Not found message from my website:

Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

What are the permalink settings for your blog? You can find out by logging in to your WordPress dashboard, and looking at Settings -> Permalinks

They are set to Post name. Is this a problem? Happy to let you have my login details if you think that would help to find the problem?

Any update on this?

Mike, I had my permalinks set to postname. I changed them back to default and I was able to view them.

@MikeDeal, it may be worth trying @edventures' suggestion. The permalinks should be automatically regenerated and this shouldn't be broken, but it's possible that changing them would help. Let me know.

Any word on how this worked out? I can't duplicate the issue on my own system.

I was able to work around the bug, all i had to do was switch the permalinks to default, checked that the badge page and award page were found, then i was able to restore postnames. So it sure seems like the problem is in the regenerating of the permalinks, i don't know enough about how that happens at a plugin level to fix it, just thought i should point it out.
