Send images on a group chat

As other users pointed, it seems that libpurple does not allow to send files on chat groups.
Maybe we could modify libpurple to add a capability for some protocols that support this.

Anybody knows whether this issue is solved/taken into account for development in libpurple, or where should we open a ticket for that?
