Inkscape svg template mimicking rxjava style marble diagrams
Using Inkscape (free open-source software available on Linux and other platforms), open this file:
marble-diagram.svg
and modify for your needs. Then export it as a PNG (Drawing only) and link to it with your documentation.
I'm no graphic artist that's for sure but there's lots of help on the web for stuff you might want to do in Inkscape.
First up, how to make marbles of different colours.
- select an existing marble and duplicate it (copy and paste)
- click on the gradient tool
- click on the new marble
- click on the bottom right handle in the new marble (it will turn blue)
- click on a different colour in the colour strip on the bottom left
