I am trying this new "thing" of "reporting" what I was up to in a certain time period this year, and monthly reviews just sound like something normal people would do. So bear with me while I am typing up this report.

- **February:** I don't trust February. This month can't decide if it's 28 or 29 days long and it's also much shorter than any other month. It's an abomination.
- **Focus:** I started to organise my work time into bundles that are dedicated to specific tasks. I can do this because I don't have too many meetings these days. On one side I get things done, on the other that rigorous "time out" method at the end of the time bundle is leaving me with much needed notetaking tasks so I can find where to re-start next time I work on a project. The system has optimisation potential.
- **kollitsch.dev:** I worked through some design changes, but most of the time went into updating modules and features.
- **Language Learning:** I again didn't do much in this resort...
- **All the other stuff:** As always there was a lot of things that I just ignored or let slide. That's life. I guess.

- **Not much happened, other than weird things**: I sometimes wonder if people are just misunderstanding the meaning of "Open Source". There is some serious trolling going on several projects I try to contribute to. People seem to think "Open Source" means free support. Well, it doesn't. People seem to think, they are entitled to leave their micro agressions in issues and forum threads. They are certainly not. I am growing slightly annoyed by people feeling entitled to free support. And in such cases I tend to retreat a little bit and do stuff that is more gratifying to me.
- **That weird theme bug in Google Chrome**: I realised, that people on Chrome didn't see much of the "graphical text elements" (let's call them that for now) because Google does not support `background-clip: text`. I thought it did, but it turns out that they require the prefixed version of the command (`-webkit-background-clip: text`). This is annoying, because on [caniuse.com](https://caniuse.com/?search=background-clip) it shows green and I would have assumed that a prefixed support would lead to a yellow support color. It doesn't. Which brings us back to one of my favourite mantra: "Less assumptions, more verification." People told me, I ignored them. Repeat my other mantra: "Listen."
- **All the other stuff:** As always there was a lot of things that I just ignored or let slide. That's life. I guess.

Slightly delayed comes the May report now:

- **Focus:** Missing.
- **Fixing things:** A lot more than I like to admit.
- **Cleanup:** Closing down nonsense repos and projects. Concentrating on the things I like.
- **kollitsch.dev:** Fixing the colour schemes, fixing plenty of stuff under the hood and upgrading to Bootstrap 5.2. I am not sure if I am doing this right.
- **Customers:** They are all happy it seems. I am not sure if I am doing this right.
- **Pokki:** I wonder how many months in the future I will look back at this time and think of it as "the good times" before it all ended. I am not sure if I am doing this right.
- **Language Learning:** Continuing with my Golang lessons and wondering if I am doing this right.
- **All the other stuff:** As always there was a lot of things that I just ignored or let slide. That's life. I guess. Probably doing it right.

I am going on a journey this June out of my beloved Batcave and Fortress of Solitude and into the wonderful world of the real life. By plane. And train. And car. And boat. And bike. And whatever else I can find. I am going to try to make it as good as possible.
