noVNC Rails Gem

This gem is an attempt to make noVNC easy to install in a Rails application.

So far, it's fairly basic. There is a Rake task to import code from a checked out git directory to make it easier to import updates from the noVNC project. Future work might include something to make the HTML code available, like a generator.

To use:

Gemfile

gem 'noVNC', :git => "git://github.com/davidw/noVNCgem.git"

load just the minimum to run noVNC in application.js or some per-controller .js.

//= require noVNC-min

or load the whole suite

//= require noVNC-all

OR

You can also load it on a per-page basis with these helpers:

include_novnc_javascript_min

Which loads just the minimum needed to get going.

include_novnc_javascript_all

include_novnc_javascript

These, which are equivalent, load everything.
