Thank you so much Janna for creating this issue. I will look into it as
soon as I can. Could I ask you for one last favor which is to provide a
link to the page you were reading on the site here so I can see what
information you were looking at as a reference?

Doing a google search I just found a link that shows more information about the book you're looking for. https://www.biblio.com/book/history-day-county-south-dakota-1873/d/1463260715 I haven't been able to find an available copy of it yet. But I live in Salt Lake City, UT. I'll check to see if I can find information on this book a the FamilySearch library for you. |
The only copy of this book I've been able to locate so far turns out to be located in Los Angeles California. Are you near there? |
It's a few hours, but that could be an option. I will try contacting the
library to see if they could provide any research help. It's a long way to
go for just a couple of pages, but I'll definitely keep that optio open.
Thanks for your help!

On the Day County Genealogy Resources website, you have an index for a book entitled "History of Day County, 1873-1926" by L.G. Ochsenreiter, 1926. The index lists a couple of my ancestors, and I want to find the information, but I cannot find any copies of this book (either digitized or to purchase.) I live in California, so I am unable to come to any SD research sites. Do you know if this book is available anywhere? I am interested in information for Tom Jones of Waubay (pp. 170-171) and W.H. Jones of Egeland (pp. 126-127)
