Description

It looks like PgPass credentials are cached

DBeaver Version

24.0.3 EA

Operating System

Win10

Database and driver

PostgreSQL

Steps to reproduce

Precondition:

  • Local and SSH PostgreSQL databases are available and have the same user/password
  • PgPass file is configured for SSH database (SSH host is written)
  1. Open create connection dialog, fill SSH Tunnel creds, go to the Main tab, enter PostgreSQL user and select PgPass auth method
  2. Press Test Connection
  3. Disable SSH Tinnel (in order to connect to the local PostgreSQL) and press Test Connection

AR: the database is connected
ER: the database isn't connected because of wrong host in the PgPass
