Hotfix for Synapse stringTypes and hash type #61

Discussed with @swanderz the hotfix for the Azure Synapse stringType and the change in hash setting. MD5 isn't supported anymore, so switched to SHA256.

@datasharkNL can you please:

  1. pull from the main branch please to get this updated, and
  2. maybe open a issue describing the reason for these changes?

I'm all for making this release, but I'm scared to change the hashing behavior for all of our users. I'm afraid it could break things for existing users!
