Relational queries on instance level with purged Instance Records does not return matches if no Study Instance UID or no Series Instance UID is specified, also causing that RESTful service Search for Instances of Study returns 204 No Content if the Instance Records of the specified Study are purged.

Actually, it's sufficient that either Study Instance UID or Series Instance UID is specified to locate Meta-data ZIP on storage for Series which Instance Records were purged from the DB for calculating the matching instances.
