imageMe is a super simple image gallery server.
Think python -m SimpleHTTPServer
for pictures.
To run the image server on port 8000:
Get hold of a copy of imageme.py
. For really easy use put it in your PATH
.
You could clone this repo:
> git clone git@git.tuputech.com:DiHuang/ImageMe.git
Run imageme.py
from the root directory to serve from:
> cd /path/to/my/pics
> imageme.py

You can specify a port, just like you can with SimpleHTTPServer
:
Port = 8008 (default: 8000)
Num = 5 (default: 3)
Dir = /path/to/image dir (default: ./)
>$ python imageme.py -p Port -n Num -d Dir
pip install imageme --user
>$ imageme -p Port -n Num -d Dir
Hit the URL imageMe tells you in your browser, and have fun exploring.
