Part one: The culture of the City

Dragon or Long is one of the most important symbols in China. ‘Dragon City’ is thus undoubtedly referring to a city full of Chinese cultural deposits. When you hear the name of ‘Dragon City’, it might remind you of a city surrounded by the ancient Chinese buildings. But the City is actually a perfect combination of China’s ancient culture and Western modernization. In that sense, the City is a reflection of both the Eastern and Western civilizations.

Instead of Chinese ancient buildings, the architectural style of the City is mainly that of modern metropolitan style. Chinese style buildings are spread over the City’s landmarks. In addition, the significant symbols from the western architecture have been added to the overall city structure. Although the City has put its emphasis on reflecting Chinese culture, it is also a city of liberty and globalization. The combination of eastern and western civilization has given birth to a new form of culture that lays its foundation on profound Chinese culture. The City’s infrastructure is well built to satisfy people’s needs. The Dragon City welcomes friends all over the world to make the City a better place together.

Part two: The constituents of the City

1. The buildings and roads of the Dragon City

There will be a symbolic landmark located in the center of the City.
It will be a building that can represent Chinese culture in the most straightforward way, such as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square or the Summer Palace. The building will function as the center of public affairs and administration, not the center of commercial activities, so as to prevent the surge of city center land price. By detaching the city center from commercialization, we aim to retain the principles of liberty and fairness. The economic value of commercial zone will both be designed and be defined by the citizens, following the principle of liberty.

With the above mentioned landmark as the heart of the City, modern skyscrapers and clean roads will be dispersed around the City.

Four main gates that are decorated with Dragon totems will be located respectively on the north, south, east and west sides of the edges of the City, which will give the people with the strongest impression of the City being a city of Chinese culture. Nonetheless, when people explore further into the city, they will see buildings that have combined different eastern and western cultures. The unexpected contrast excites people most.

2. The transportation and public infrastructure of the Dragon City

The distribution of roads of streets will follow that of China’s major cities with actual situation of the City also brought into consideration. The public transportation of the city will include city bus, city metro, taxi, bicycle and electric car. The City will also build airport, ferry terminal and parks. Rivers will flow across the City, along with lakes, trees and flowers all around the City, just the same as real life.

3. The commercial constituents of the City

The Dragon City will be comprised of various commercial buildings and services, such as shopping mall, supermarket, real estate office, indoor market and all other kinds of commercial institutions that will satisfy people’s different needs. There will also be spa center, KTV, racing center, boxing center and slot machines to provide people with places to relax and entertain themselves. Among them, the City will make efforts on building high-end gaming entertainment.

In addition, the City will issue a token to conduct commerce.

Part three: The functions of the City

1. People can engage in conversation with each other, which gives them the possibility to socialize while playing Mahjong together.
2. People can trade in a truly free market where monopoly and governmental intervention does not exist.
3. People have real sensual experience derived from gaming and entertainment.

建议在名字后面加上「龙城」汉字，这可以让很多英语不好的人（比如我）能更快的找到咱们这个项目，也能让更多玩家了解这个项目。还有一点，带dragon名字的项目不止咱们一个，为了防止别人投错项目，加中文「龙城」可以避免这个情况，免得以后双方扯皮。
