About 3 months ago support for WASAPI loopback was introduced in PortAudio, see PortAudio/portaudio#672.
WASAPI loopback makes it possible to record sound as it passes through the Windows audio engine on its way to the output device, i.e. "record what you hear".
This seems like quite the interesting feature and FlexASIO should add support for it. Presumably the FlexASIO side of the implementation would be trivial.
