Seems that the slider, not always but time to time, also react to touch/move vertically on iOS Safari

UPDATE

I could reproduce the issue on my iPhone 6 after I try the code template, then it begin to shake

Furthermore than some improvements in this core library I also had to add force-overscroll="false" scroll-y="false" to the ion-content of the starter kit
