allow-read allow-write permissions constrained to specific directories #2196

It seems like allow-read and allow-write are very wide open permissions when all you want to do is maybe read a configuration file from the same directory as the script is located in. Would be nice to have the ability to specific which directory you want to grant the read and/or write permissions to. Also, would be nice to be able to easily allow them for the directory that the script is located in.
