Feature Request - List of 'Gaps'

A feature we could really use would be the ability to provide isotope with a callout that allows an application provide some artwork to fill gaps.

Isotope: Whoops, I have these three rectangles that I am going to have to leave blank, otherwise, I would be fitting everything into a perfect rectangle.

App: Here, have these three blocks of html, which will fit those blocks perfectly

Isotope: Nice! No gaps! Happy!

A bit easier said than done. Adding the logic to identify then utilize gaps can grow cumbersome. See desandro/masonry#141

I would be interested in seeing this feature aswell +1. I like the idea of having the ability to have artwork filling the gaps.
