Acknowledged. This failure mode sounds familiar so it should be easy to debug. |

Should be ready to go. Primary cause of failure was the Sphinx version, but settings for all tests needed review, so there are several changes. |

Followup to PR #209, I'm expecting this PR to fail doctests due to a jinja2 environment/version mismatch:
