-floating action button It is only used to send posts. This needs to support more functions. Floating action button must have hide/show read post settings

Would you please like to elaborate?

I don't understand what you mean by "needs to support more options".

The floating action button is specifically designed for "the most important action on a screen" and "presenting the screen's most important action". It is discourages to use more than one FAB on a screen. A second, smaller FAB may be used alongside a big FAB if there are two similarly important actions.

See: https://m3.material.io/components/floating-action-button/guidelines

Considering these guidelines I don't really understand what you mean by "more options". Maybe you could send a screenshot of another app that uses the FAB the way you described it?

Boost for reddit does this. The FAB is used more like a dropdown menu than a true FAB.

Default state:
telegram-cloud-photo-size-1-4947763644972772548-y

Expanded:
telegram-cloud-photo-size-1-4947763644972772547-y

Not sure if this is really a good approach, but I can understand why users accustomed to it might prefer it.

Images that appear in attachments are available in the sycn for redit application. With the fab button settings, you can use the button for different settings if you want.

If you don't want to use the fab button for different features in this way the other option is to have the hide read feature there if you click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

This feature provides easy access to hide read settings. Because you don't want to see the same things on your page. A cleaner homepage is nice. This feature provides easy access to hide read settings.
But you'd like to see it in your posts to see new comments. Or this feature should be turned off to see the post you have sent. A setting that is used continuously should be more easily accessible.
Also in the user settings section, this setting does not work. It is necessary to enter the website and change it.
