Transcoded songs are not playing through

First of all, thank you so much for developing this! It is amazing.

When I play a song on my iPhone, it skips to the next song in the queue even when there is 30s to a minute left on the current song. I'm using a jailbroken iPhone 6+ on iOS 8.1.

Please let me know what else I can do to flesh out this issue report!

Edit: I seem to only get this issue with music that is being transcoded. I tested both a flac and an m4a.

I get the same thing on Firefox in Android, the server running in Linux Mint. Transcoded songs are not playing through.

The bug seems to show up only with certain songs. Would it help if I can provide you one incriminated song? (as far as now, that song will always trigger the bug)

Hey everybody,

I have experienced the same problems sometimes when transcoding music, but I cannot easily reproduce the issue. I have created a small patch that changes the audio transcoder behavior a bit, which might fix the issue.

Please checkout the devel branch to see if the problem has been resolved. And please also report back in both in case it works or it doesn't.

I am having the same problem using the devel branch with firefox 46.0.1 on android but not firefox on linux. After about 10 - 20 seconds the cherry music server reports, "socket.timeout: The write operation timed out." The client seems to play until it runs out of buffered data at which point it goes on to the next song. This has happened with every flac file I've tried and not with any mp3 files.

I am seeing this issue consistently with Firefox 48 on Linux. With Chrome 52, however, instead of skipping to the next song what happens is that playback stops for ~10 seconds and then resumes. All of this while using the devel branch.
