======= AndroidGameOfLife

Android implementation of Conway's "game of life".

This is release of some older project of mine.

I used Netbeans and the NBAndroid plugin to develop this.

=================

This program implements a very basic version of John Horton Conway's cellular automaton called "game of life" also known as "Conway's Game of Life". If you want to know more about it you should check out the Wikipedia page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway's_Game_of_Life

The basic rules are as follows (quoted from above's article):

  1. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by underpopulation.
  2. Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.
  3. Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.
  4. Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell.

Have fun with the code.
