Here is a unique lighting bug. It even occurs with a default config.

My specs are in my steam profile, which is linked in my GitHub profile. I'm on Arch Linux 64bit

This bug in unrelated to the other issue about shadow bugs that I closed. This occurs even with a default config, which enables both turbo shadows and optimized shadows.

This still occurs with a fresh config and new playthrough.

I’ve been skimming my open issues, and thought maybe this is a bug in the map, and not so much a rendering glitch. I’m not a mapper, but I know certain rendering flaws can occur if maybe a lighting value is set incorrectly, or some sort of polygon thing.

Does any have a clue as to why this would happen? I launched the game today and a fresh git master clone and it still happens.

Can you try if this by any chance is fixed with the new Carmacks Reverse code?
I'm not super optimistic about it, but it's worth a try..

Just tried it out, and its still the same weird shadow glitch. I think it might be an issue with how the map was made.
