This bug in unrelated to the other issue about shadow bugs that I closed. This occurs even with a default config, which enables both turbo shadows and optimized shadows. |
This still occurs with a fresh config and new playthrough. |
I’ve been skimming my open issues, and thought maybe this is a bug in the map, and not so much a rendering glitch. I’m not a mapper, but I know certain rendering flaws can occur if maybe a lighting value is set incorrectly, or some sort of polygon thing. Does any have a clue as to why this would happen? I launched the game today and a fresh git master clone and it still happens. |
Can you try if this by any chance is fixed with the new Carmacks Reverse code? |
Just tried it out, and its still the same weird shadow glitch. I think it might be an issue with how the map was made. |
