Check For Show Updates and Get Windows Notifications
A program made to serve a simple purpose- Add ongoing-shows of your choice to the local database through the app and get the ability to manually check for updates, receiving a toast notification if there's an update.
You can search for your shows of choice whose data is scraped through TMDB's API and add the show to the locally stored DB file.
View the stored data in a neat table format.
Receive persistent toast notifications after checking for updates.
- Clone the repo and install the dependencies either through the requirements.txt or through Poetry.
- Create a .env file and enter your api key with the variable name "API_KEY".
- Run main.py.
