This will use the specified --prefix directly, instead of creating a dials-X.Y/ subdirectory underneath it.

Specifying
--prefix=to the installer puts adials-X.Ysubdirectory, and installs into that. This means that it's impossible to actually install to a desired prefix without this subdirectory.When
--raw-prefixis passed to the installer, it will use the specified--prefixdirectly, instead of creating this further subdirectory. This means that it can be made to behave the same way as any other installation --prefix
