English Description

The goal of this project is to set up an electronic platform allowing the public to recover their lost items. More Specifically, It will allow users to:

1. Declare Lost Items
2. Register Found Items
3. Match Lost / Found Items and notify the stakeholders
4. Search Lost Items
5. Connect users with the information needed to recover their lost / found items

French Description

Ce projet vise à mettre sur pied une plate-forme électronique permettant aux utilisateurs d’entrer en possession de leurs objets perdus et retrouvés. Plus spécifiquement, elle permettra de réduire le nombre d’objets perdus et retrouvés en souffrance dans des lieux publics et de réduire le stress chez les victimes. La plate-forme sera constituée d’une application mobile (Android, iOS, Windows) et web pouvant non seulement déclarer de façon électronique la perte d’un objet, mais aussi le fait qu’il a été retrouvé et de mettre en relation de manière sécurisée celui qui a perdu l’objet et celui qui l’a retrouvé pour que le propriétaire entre en possession de son bien. La plate-forme permettra également de mettre sur pied un moyen pour vérifier que le prétendu propriétaire est le propriétaire réel de l’objet. La plate-forme met à la disposition du public un moteur de recherche des objets perdu et retrouvés où tout utilisateur pourra chercher un objet égaré suivant des critères définis.
