Sometimes you don't want to see posts of someone (e.g. with a tag) but still allow them other communication (such as comments).

Maybe rename the 'ignore' option to 'block' and add this option as 'ignore' could by easier to understand.

That's exactly why you have "My aspects" streams, to filter posts you want to see based on the author of the post. I don't feel like this should be implemented.

I desagree @Flaburgan. For example, I follow #french tag, but it's a really used one, and some of users use this tag for each post. Problem: sometimes I totally don't care, but I see many posts... I don't want to block them neither, so I think this feature can be really useful too.

I totally want this in. We should have both block and possibility to hide from streams.. I think ignore is too strong a word, hide is lighter. Since we're not hiding users posts totally, just hiding them from coming up in the streams.

In defense of a harder "block", I present this screenshot:

In which someone submits a totally irrelevant, crazy af comment to a post by a bot...which is probably not going to 'ignore' anyone or moderate its comments.

I think it's pretty easy to imagine a scenario in which trolls hijack the comments section of posts by bot accounts for continuing to utter annoyances to people who don't want to read them. And in the current state, there would be nothing any user could do about it. Except ignore all bots, which is lame.
