Shoppy is a web application that enables users to view different categorized product, add to cart facility and view each product on a specific single page with the authentication for each users.

About The Project

Features

  • Browse different products on differnt categorized pages
  • Add to cart whichever users like
  • Get detailed information about the product user love on a dedicated single page

Technologies Used

  • Backend: Node.js, Express.js
  • Frontend: React, Styled Components

Folder Structure

The project follows a structured organization with separate backend and frontend directories:

  • backend/: Contains the Node.js backend.
  • frontend/: Contains the React frontend.

Getting Started

Running a development environment for this project will be the easiest thing in you day.

Prerequisites

Steps to run

To run the application locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/dibyendu02/Shoppy.git
  2. Run both command separately to setup the codebase:

    cd backend && npm install && npm run dev
    cd frontend && npm install && npm start
