This application demonstrates the usage of the System Management - GPU API. It allows you to adjust the GPU multiplier and monitor the module's temperature while an OpenGL application is running and using the GPU.
The value of the multiplier is between 1 and 64. When set to 1, the GPU is configured with the minimum frequency, while when set to 64 it is configured with the maximum one.
To run this example you need:
- A compatible development board to host the application.
- A USB connection between the board and the host PC in order to transfer and launch the application.
Make sure the hardware is set up correctly:
- The development board is powered on.
- The board is connected directly to the PC by the micro USB cable.
The example is already configured, so all you need to do now is to build and launch the project.
While it is running, you can adjust the GPU multiplier to see how the module's temperature and the smoothness of the OpenGL application vary.
