Git Client

A copy of this repository must be downloaded to your host machine to install the GMAT2020a_box, see the Host Common Setup section for download instructions.

As a developer, a git tool is necessary to modify this GitHub repository. DigitalSats does not recommend any particular client. Developers may use whatever client they prefer.

It is also possible to download the repository as a .zip file. In this case, the GitHub version of the repository cannot be altered.

If you are unfamiliar with git, the git-scm command line client is the git project's command line. Follow the instructions at the git-scm site to install it on your host.

There are dozens of git clients, both open source and products available on the internet. Some clients are cross platform and will work with two or more of the supported hosts.
