Hello there,

I am only able to install application via scanning QR code. I am seeing message like this:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/prod_object_assets/assets/211874330194511/deploy.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAIXM6FRIC5QVSA63Q&Expires=1479540385&Signature=I1OM4hgD%2FWHgbHoZdWoevcquTCs%3D#_=_

Making new version is not solving the issue. I am using my own instance of commcare-hq.

hey @sachitad - I don't think there is enough information in this issue for me to fully understand what's going on or where you think the issue with commcare HQ is. if you could add specifics about the URL you are requesting and what you are expecting to get back, etc. we can try and take a look. in the meantime i'm going to close it until there is a clear sense that there is a bug here.

hey @czue - Sorry for not being clear. This is more of a question than a bug. I created an application and made a new version of the application. On the popup modal (Deploying version), there are two options to install app: Scan Application or Enter App Code. I get a warning message saying "No app code available". Can you tell me when does app_code is created and what might be failing so that the app code is not created here? Thank you

aha. the App Code should be generated by HQ when you make a build. If you're using your own instance you will need a valid BITLY_LOGIN and BITLY_APIKEY to generate these for you.
