Action items

Performance issues / questions

  • 3-detector events. Does a larger GNPE kernel size help? Gibbs sampling may be impacted by the fact that the fraction of proxy-space volume covered by the kernel is much smaller in 3D than in 2D.

  • Gibbs sampling diagnostics. How can we test convergence of the GNPE iterations? It would be good to know when to stop iterating. How can we remove "dead" chains that do not properly sample the distribution?

  • PP plots and injections. These are needed, and require improved sampling parallelization.

Missing components

  • Documentation and tutorials.
  • Analog of bilby_pipe for handling LVK events as they occur.
  • Detector calibration marginalization.
