Since 9.17.0 (also tested on 9.17.1) next to the current opened collection, all opened folders get highlighted as well.
I'm not sure if this is on purpose since I couldn't find a pull request that enabled this on purpose.
In my opinion it is not ideal to highlight opened folders next to the current collection, since it could become quite unorganized when you are working with a lot of folders that are default opened:

Create a few collections.
Create a few folders.
Add some collections to folders and create a structure like the image above.
