Probably the way is to be able to select different options like quill, tinyMCE or any other |
That's where extensions come in 🙂 I'd rather have one good one in the core codebase, and allow the others through extensions rather than trying to have all and maintain feature parity between them |

TinyMCE 6 has launched, which is a pretty nice upgrade on v5. That being said, it's not a drop-in replacement and needs some tinkering to make sure our custom modals, buttons, logic, styles are fully working against tinymce 6
